I have been working in the childcare industry for over 30 years.  I have worked overseas in New Zealand and the United States.  I have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care as well as a Bachelor of Primary Education.  I have been at Sandgate Kids Brighton Road since 2008.  My passion is to encourage children to live in the moment, where they can be themselves, and support their well-being.

I have worked in the Childcare industry for 28 years with 18 of these at Brighton Road.  Our small service feels like one large family.  My passion is to see children learn and build on experiences as they develop their whole selves through play.

I began working in the Early Years industry in 2009.  I started working at Sandgate Kids Brighton Road in 2020.  I enjoy working with children, playing with them and having conversations throughout the day.  With the older children I enjoy watching them develop self-help skills and prewriting skills.  The more I learn from children, the more I grow as an educator.
