For Families

You are your child’s first educators so it’s important that you are involved in all aspects of their early education.

We encourage you to be involved with everything from the development of your child’s individual program to the monitoring of their progress.

Be an active partner in your child’s learning

Early education doesn’t just happen here at the centre. Your child learns every day from you and during your family activities.

There may be information we need to know about those experiences which we can build on as part of the program. We will ask for your input into the program we’ve designed for your child, so we are both comfortable that it is exactly what is needed.

We keep you up to date on how your child’s progress

We keep a record of your child’s learning stories, photographs and creative work in a special online portfolio. We update it almost every day and it’s always there for you to look through and comment on. We rely on your feedback to help us plan the next stages of your child’s educational program.

You are welcome to visit the centre or to call us on 07 3269 1937 if you want to find out more. We also have a parent handbook which will explain how childcare and kindy work.
