Hi, my name is Rachel and I have worked in the early childhood industry for around 25 years. I have been lucky enough to work at Sandgate Kids Nash Street for 19 of those years most recently for the past 14 years. Within this time, I have worked in various roles from the lead educator in the Nursery right through to the kindergarten room. For the past 7 years I have been the service manager at Sandgate Kids Nash Street working with and mentoring an amazing team of educators.

I am extremely passionate about early childhood and believe that the foundations to successful learning are building strong relationships with children, families, and educators. I see the children as capable and competent learners and enjoy enriching the lives of young children as they start their early learning journey.

I am blessed with 2 beautiful little boys who have been lucky enough to start their early education journey here at Sandgate Kids. In our spare time we love to go camping, to the park and spending time with families and friends.

I have worked in the childcare industry for 30 years, 13 of those here at Sandgate Kids Nash Street.

I have multiple roles here at Nash st. These include 2IC, Educational leader an Active Outdoor Program Coordinator.My qualifications include: Diploma of Childcare and Education, Certificate IV in fitness and a Diploma in Business.

I believe we are the first impression that both parents and children have as they begin their education journey so let’s make it a positive experience. Trust is very important to me as families are handing over their most precious gift. I believe in a holistic approach to the development of children and that is why my passion is also health and fitness.
