I have been part of the Sandgate Kids team since 2015. After my previous career in Human Resources and Recruitment it was definitely a change! My role as Kindergarten Manager is very varied and challenging, which I love. However, by far the most rewarding aspects of my role are the relationships that develop with our children and their families. I am proud of the welcoming and inclusive environment we create and the introduction to learning that we are able to provide to our Kindy children. I firmly believe that children are competent and capable learners and learning through play is a crucial phase of their development.
I have two children of my own and outside of Kindy I seem to spend the majority of my time driving them to various sporting endeavours or school events. When I get the opportunity, I love spending time with family and friends, walking my Labrador or attending live concerts or sporting events.
